Sustainability is super important to me, even when I’m travelling. So, today I wanted to share my review of: Full Circle’s Eco-friendly survival hygiene kit. This pack includes all the products (travel sized, of course) you would need for your travels. Every product in this pack, down to the packing peanuts, is either reusable, recyclable or biodegradable! And as if that’s not good enough, every time you buy a pack you’re supporting charity! So, let’s have a look what you get in this kit.
100ml no-rinse body wash
I was hesitant at first but I have to admit this product really impressed me. A no-rinse body wash! That’s definitely something I’ve not seen before. I was expecting something along the lines of hand sanitizer (sticky texture & strong alcohol smell) but I couldn’t have been more wrong! This product foams up a little when you use it and has a fresh citrus scent reminding me of something you’d find in Lush. Whether you’re avoiding the queue at your hostel or on a week-long trek with no shower, you’re good to go. Plus, you can give yourself a pat on the back for not wasting any water.
50ml antibacterial hand gel
Just like the no-rinse body gel, this product comes in a zero-waste reusable aluminum bottle, so you can use it over and over again. Once again, no water needed to get you feeling nice and clean. Hand-sanitizer is a must-have when travelling and this is the perfect eco-friendly one.
50ml unisex antiperspirant
I like the fact that it’s a unisex scent, perfect to share and no too overpowering. Just a nice refreshing scent. Unlike some other deodorants, this one doesn’t feel wet when you spray it and doesn’t irritate (ideal if you have sensitive skin like me). And, you guessed it, it comes in a recyclable bottle.
50ml tropical dry shampoo
Really happy with this product, it works just as well as any other dry-shampoo I’ve used. It’s got a tropical fruity scent that reminds me of piña coladas, what more could you want? Overall, I’m very impressed with the wide variety in scents amongst the products. Each product is completely unique and when used in combination you definitely smell as fresh as you would as if you were showering at home.
Biodegradable bamboo toothbrush
Surely, you’ve seen plenty of these on your favorite blog or Instagram by now. You’ve not really got an excuse not to make the switch. Usually these bamboo-brushes sell for more than a plastic toothbrush does, but this set makes it so affordable! I’m really impressed with the number of products you get for the price.
Fresh mint toothpaste
This paste comes in a handy reusable aluminum pot that doesn’t take up loads of space. At first glance, it looks like the pot might not hold a lot of product but I’ve been using it for a while now and I’m pleasantly surprised at how long its lasting! I’m planning on repurposing this little pot to house a DIY, low-waste lip balm when it’s empty.
Plastic-free biodegradable face-wipes & biodegradable eco-towel
Honestly, I never buy face-wipes because I just find them too wasteful. But I can’t deny they can come in handy when you’re travelling and don’t have access to any facilities. I’m so glad I’ve found this sustainable replacement for regular wipes so I can justify buying them again. You don’t even have to feel bad if your travels brought you to the middle of nowhere with no bins- just toss em somewhere and they’ll decompose, no worries.
100% recycled Eco-leaf toilet paper
When I said this kit has everything you need, I wasn’t kidding! Down to eco-friendly toilet paper, they’ve got you covered.
Full Circle Cotton Jute bag
And last but not least, a handy cotton jute bag to keep it all together. Simple, clean aesthetic with the Full Circle logo that you can proudly show off because you’re saving the world one wash at a time!
Overall, I’m so impressed with this kit. I genuinely love the different scents and with the wide variety of products, it’s such good value for the price. Most importantly of course, I love what this brand stands for. Travel is not always the most sustainable. The miniature toiletries we use for one trip and then toss out aren’t doing anyone a favor. It’s so refreshing to see a brand standing up for our planet and coming up with such great, revolutionary products. I will definitely be taking these products on my upcoming trips and am so excited to be able to share them with you. If you’d like to get your hand on this set you can get it here!
